The Aomori International Exchange Association (AIEA) has opened their Aomori Prefecture Foreigner Consultation Service Desk. This free service responds to various inquiries from foreign residents across Aomori Prefecture.
We provide you with valuable information to help solve problems regarding your daily or work life in concert with relevant consulting organizations.
We can arrange meetings with these organizations or attend to you as a translator (first time only).

4．Try Our 3-Way Calling Service!!
Three (3) parties can directly communicate by phone using the system of ‘3-Way Calling.’
With this system, 🅐 (acting as a translator) can assist communication between 🅑 and 🅒.

◆How to Use 3-Way Calling
AIEA Service Desk= 🅐 Consulting Organization= 🅑 Foreign Resident(s)/Client(s)= 🅒
I If your mobile number is one provided by a Japanese mobile carrier (NTT docomo/au/SoftBank, etc.)
① 🅒 calls 🅐 to make an inquiry. 🅒 tells 🅐 their phone number.
② 🅐 calls 🅒 back and asks them to wait on hold.
③ 🅐 then places a call to 🅑 to inform them of the concerns of 🅒.
④ After 🅐 switches the call to three-way, all three (3) parties (🅐, 🅑 & 🅒) can begin communication.
⑤ As 🅑 & 🅒 follows 🅐’s communication guidelines, 🅐 alternates translation between Japanese & 🅒’s language.
Ⅱ If your mobile number is NOT one provided by a Japanese mobile carrier (NTT docomo/au/SoftBank, etc.)
AIEA’s Facebook Messenger, WeChat or WhatsApp service accounts.
(Note: This service is not a direct 3-Way Call. Using this method, 🅐 will act as a translator using two (2) separate AIEA telephones, communicating with 🅑 & 🅒 in turn.)
① Please send a friend request to us at AIEA. You will first need to scan the SNS QR Code below of either Facebook Messenger, WeChat or WhatsApp. * If using WeChat’s QR Code, we recommend using WeChat’s built-in scanner.
② 🅒 calls 🅐 using their preferred SNS service (FB, WeChat or WhatsApp).
③ 🅐 places a separate phone call to 🅑.
④ 🅐 alternates communication between 🅑 & 🅒.
⑤ As 🅑 & 🅒 follows 🅐’s communication guidelines, 🅐 in turn interprets between Japanese and 🅒’s language.
